MBO: Management by Objective

When we speak of goals in our context, i.e,, we surgeons point of view, our goals should be to Master Surgeries. How to define that? We can put it in the words of Management people i.e., MOB or Management by Objective. You should have clear objectives in your goals.

Your surgeries should be: Cost effective,

Take minimum possible time,

Surgeries should be easily reproducible,

Your technique should provide you maximum results and are

Associated with minimum number of complications.

We can also put this in other words, i.e., TQM or Total Quality Management, another popular word in Management circles.
