Dr. Prahlada N.B graduated from JJM Medical College, Davanagere, Karnataka and received his Postgraduate Residency training at the most prestigious PGIMER, Chandigarh. After short term fellowship training at various countries abroad, established one of the best ENT and Head and Neck Surgery Department at Al-Shifa Hospital, Perinthalmanna, Kerala.
Won the most coveted Dr. RAF Cooper’s Award for his original surgical technique “Mastoid obliteration with Karnataka Flap”, in year 2001. He has demonstated Micro-ear surgery, Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, Head & Neck Cancer and Reconstructive Surgery and Facial plastic surgery at various courses and conferences. Has authored a pioneering book, “Imaging for Endoscopic Sinus surgery”.
Has many publications and original surgical techniques to his credit and presented 14 original papers at “International Conference on Cholesteatoma and Mastoid Surgery 2003” held at Hague City, Netherlands. He was a invited speaker at “SAARC ENT Congress 2004” held at Sri Lanka.
Currently working as Associate Professor at Basaveshwara Medical College and Hospital at Chitradurga City, Karnatka State and own “Karnataka ENT Hospital & Research Center”, which has the state of the art facility for all types of ENT-Head & Neck Surgery and Skull Base Surgeries.
Conducts Fellowship training programs in Micro-Ear surgery and Endoscopic Sinus Surgery and has credit of training more than 30 surgeons till today. |

Prof. Naresh K Panda, Professor and Head of the Department of Otolaryngology at the Premier Institute of India, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, is a fellow of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He also happens to be Alumnus of PGIMER, Chandigarh and was Awarded Silver Medal of First order in MS ENT Examination May 1987. His main areas of Interest are Otology and Head & Neck Surgery and Skull Base Surgery. He has many National and International Papers to his credit. He is directly involved in many original research projects at PGIMER, Chandigarh.
He has presented many original research papers at national and international platforms and was awarded many awards for the same. To mention few, he was awarded Outstanding Paper Award in the Annual Conference of International College of Surgeons in Nov 2002 and was awarded KU Shah Senior Consultant award at the 56th and 58th Annual Conference of AOI Jan 2004 and Jan 2006 successively for best research papers.
He has delivered lectures, participated as panelist and demonstrated surgeries in many national and regional courses and conferences. He is actively involved many humanitarian and community work related to Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery and has been honored appropriately for his work from competent authorities. He was honored by Governor of Haryana with Certificate of appreciation for active participation in Speech and Hearing camps by Haryana Welfare Society for Speech and Hearing Handicapped. His area of Specialization is Otologic Surgery with specific interest in Middle Ear Reconstructive Surgery and Cochlear Implantation. He is a gifted Otologist with excellent surgical skills. He has demonstrated Otologic surgeries in many courses and conferences. He is in private practice in Otolgic surgery in Kannur, Kerala, South India. |

Dr. Manohar Shaan is graduate form
Ravishankar University , Raipur, is a consultant at Nanavati Hospital & Medical research Centre. He had hands on fellowship training program at many Universities in abroad, mainly at
Gruppo Otologico, Piacenza , Italy under PROF M SANNA. He has been guest faculty
in 80 workshops and conferences all over India.
He has nine international publications to his credit and is the author of "Manual of Temporal Bone Dissection" printed and interactive CD. He innovated and designed a Model of inner ear to explain and assist in treatment of Benign Peripheral Positional Vertigo. As an Organizing secretary he has organized more than 10 courses and conferences. |

Dr. Ahluwalia is a practising otolaryngologist at Agra and erstwhile Assistant Professor in E.N.T. & Head - Neck surgery at Government Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh. He graduated from S. N. Medical College, Agra with seven Honours and did his Masters in Otolaryngology from M. L. N. Medical College, Allahabad (1995), where he continued his Senior Residency and was Lecturer in E.N.T. at All India Institute of Speech & Hearing, Mysore.
He won 3 Gold Medals in ORL and was awarded the prestigious Dr. R.A.F. Cooper National Award 1998 for his work on Nasopharyngeal Angiofibroma by The Association of Otolaryngologists of India at Golden Jubilee National Conference of A.O.I. at New Delhi. He won the Innovation in Otolaryngology Award 2004 for his original work on branchial fistual. He was awarded Fellowship at Institut d' Otolaryngologie, Paris, France for post - doctoral training with Prof. Andre A. Sultan in 1997.
H e has been a Visiting Fellow to many foreign universities.
T o his credit, he has 21 International Publications, Contributed 2 chapters, participated in more than 46 workshops & conferences and has presented his work. He has been the Organising Secretary of 23 rd annual conference of U.P. Chapter of A.O.I., 2004 and 26 th annual conference of U.P. Chapter of A.O.I.
